About Davenport Vineyards
Established in 1991 by Will Davenport, our vineyard has grown from 5 acres in Horsmonden, Kent, to 24 acres across 5 parcels of land in Kent and East Sussex. Our commitment to organic farming, certified by the Soil Association since 2000, has yielded exceptional fruit quality and wines with depth and character.
Our winery, located in Rotherfield, East Sussex, produces up to 70,000 bottles annually. Will Davenport, with his expertise in winemaking, and Ben Connor, our experienced vineyard manager, work together to craft our wines.
In 2022, we took on the management of a larger farm, including 43 acres of vineyards and 70 acres of apple orchards. We plan to transition the non-organic vineyards to organic practices over the next 5 years. Meet Marvin, our loyal winery dog, who may not be as visible these days, but remains a beloved member of our team.
