About Chilcomb Valley Wines
Chilcomb Valley Vineyard is a family-run haven on the South Downs in Hampshire, dedicated to crafting exceptional English sparkling wines. We're driven by a passion for quality and individuality, rather than conforming to a traditional 'house style'. Our vineyard's unique terroir, with its chalk substrate identical to that found in Champagne, provides the perfect canvas for our artisanal winemaking approach. From grape to glass, we're invested in every step of the process, from tending the vines to curating the perfect cuvées.
Since planting our 1.1-hectare vineyard in 2016, we've enjoyed increasingly successful harvests, with our 2023 vintage yielding an impressive 14 tonnes of exceptional fruit. Did you know?: Our bottle logo features the horseshoe vetch flower which is a native of the South Downs Area of Outstanding National Beauty (AONB), and exclusive food of Britain's rarest blue butterfly, the Adonis Blue and its caterpillars.
