Welcombe Hills a Rosé by any other name 2023 (6 Bottles) Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England

£97.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Nose: Aromas burst forth with a delightful mix of red fruits. Melon, subtle peach, orange peel and raspberry, followed by delicate floral notes of rose petals.

Palate: The initial impression is delightfully fresh and dry, with a crisp acidity that balances the juicy fruit flavours. Blood orange fruit, raspberry with a lingering zesty finish.

Overall: This English rosé is a vibrant and refreshing expression of the region’s terroir. The deep pink colour hints at a fuller body, but the dry finish and crisp acidity make it perfect for enjoying on a warm summer day or paired with barbeque foods.

Giffords Hall Madeleine Angevine 2023 (6 Bottles) Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England

£85.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Establishing itself as one of the UK 'signature varietals', Madeleine is a very distinctive early ripening grape with a thin skin and a very floral, delicate character. It grows with great exuberance here and often overcrops.

A light and delicate bouquet with a refreshing burst of zingy lemon on the palate followed by distinctive elderflower. A dry and refreshing still white, offering depth and a smooth minerality but balanced with crisp acidity on the palate.

Domaine Pinchinat Côtes de Provence Rosé 2024 (6 Bottles) Provence, France

£117.00
by Bancroft Wines

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Domaine Pinchinat has quietly been producing organic wines since 1990, long before it was a trendy word in the region. The property has belonged to the same family for over two centuries and is now expertly managed by Alain de Welle. Situated at the foot of the famous Montagne Sainte-Victoire, 25km east of Aix en Provence, the winery has 75 acres of vineyards at 280m above sea level. The soils here are composed of clay and limestone making it a haven for vine growing.

Pale pink in colour and light in style, it is a classic Provence rosé to the core. Delicate hints of melon, peach and apricot on the nose are also present on the palate. The finish is persistent and fresh.

12.5% ABV, Organic.

Yotes Court ‘Two Beat Trot’ Chardonnay 2022 (6 Bottles) Maidstone, Kent, England

£192.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

This Chardonnay has aromas of ripe melon, bergamot and apricot, a rich palate of butter and citrus marmalade, and a savoury toast-crunch finish. Balanced, complex and delicious.

In the Vineyard

Vines in Block 7 in the centre of the vineyard were chosen for our first Chardonnay. The vines are closely planted (5,000 vines per hectare) in soil with a distinctly sandy and rocky profile. This regulates canopy growth, lessening growth of both shoots and fruit. Lighter crops, from well ventilated, less vigorous canopies, enabled us to ripen the grapes to the desired quality level with minimal canopy intervention.

What's in the name?

'Two Beat Trot' is a dressage term for balance, making it the perfect name for our Chardonnay. Just like the elegant movement, this wine is beautifully balanced and complex.

Food Pairing

This will pair well with autumn vegetable dishes like pumpkin ravioli, roast chicken, and cheddar cheese.
