About Gusbourne
At Gusbourne, we’re driven by a passion for crafting exceptional wines that showcase the best of England’s terroir. Since planting our first vines in 2004, we’ve remained committed to sustainable practices, careful vineyard management, and meticulous attention to detail. Our estate spans 90 hectares across Kent and West Sussex, where we grow high-quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes. Our wines are made using traditional methods, with a focus on expressing the unique characteristics of our vineyards.
Under the guidance of Chief Vineyard Manager Jon Pollard, we’ve adopted a low-intervention approach that allows our grapes to thrive. Our winemaking team’s expertise and dedication have earned us numerous awards, including three-time winner of the IWSC English Wine Producer of the Year. Every wine we craft tells our story, from the careful harvesting of our grapes to the precise blending and ageing processes. This new release is made from grapes from the excellent 2019 and 2020 vintages. Made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, secondary fermentation in bottle followed by 24 months gaining complexity on lees. The wine therefore benefits from some lovely bottle age and is ready to be enjoyed now. 12% ABV.

New release! This is the latest release of our best-selling Rosé Brut from the successful 2022 vintage. This release is made exactly in exactly the same style - albeit a little lighter in appearance - from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir and having spent over 18 months on lees.
Pale salmon in colour with an abundance of fine bubbles, the wine has notes of strawberry, some blood orange, summer citrus freshness with a little creamy nougat on the nose. The freshness continues into the palate with some lightly bready notes and a little some summer fruit salad. Reminiscent of a summer day with the sun going down, this is the perfect aperitif or paired with with light starter dishes. ABV 12%.

Coddington Vineyard Pinot Gris Classic Cuvee 2021 (6 Bottles) Ledbury, Herefordshire, England

This grape produces dark blue grapes when ripened at the end of October giving the wine a slight blush appearance. By allowing the natural fermentation to extend to 30 months, the Pinot grape makes a very fine sparkling wine having a fruity aroma and spicy flavour. Crisp and dry.

The East of England has an increasingly suitable climate for sparkling wine production and English Quality Sparkling Wine is rapidly gaining international recognition, praise and awards. At the Wine GB East 2022 Awards, Dedham Vale Vineyard 2018 Sparkling Brut was awarded a Silver Medal in recognition of its outstanding quality.
This Brut Sparkling wine is made using the methode champenoise. It has spent time on its lees generating a refreshing lively mousse (the French term for the bubbles that rise to the top of a sparkling wine), good depth on the palate with attractive fresh fruit flavours and yeasty overtones.
Pristine with persistent bubbles and cream texture. Toast and citrus fruit with balsamic notes. Very long fresh gooseberry finish.
