2020 was a year like no other, whilst everyone was locked down at home, we were incredibly lucky to be able to get out into the vineyard and do what we do. With a local army of freshly recruited (furloughed) vineyard workers, we negotiated our way through a season that produced a small, very ripe and incredibly concentrated crop of fruit, most notably expressed in this opulent and fruit forward edition of our much loved Rosé. Even though the blend and process is exactly the same as previous wines, there is something different about this one, a purity, softness and elegance that makes the wine simply glide across the palate. We can’t wait to see how it develops over the years, but this really will be a hard one to keep.
Chapel Down Discovery Series Pinot Noir Rosé 2020 (6 Bottles) Tenterden, Kent, England

Chapel Down Pinot Noir Rosé is a delicate wine with aromas of cranberry; citrus; and raspberry. The texture is light and almost weightless on the palate; with a long; fresh finish.
The light and delicate character of this wine will make it a natural partner with shellfish.
Our winemaking team are continually experimenting with different varieties and styles, releasing limited parcels under the ‘Discovery Series’ label. This collection of vibrant English wines celebrates the art of English winemaking.
This delicate rosé is our first 100% Pinot Noir rosé wine. The majority of our Pinot Noir fruit is reserved for our sparkling wines, however the exceptional vintage gave near perfect conditions from which to produce a stunning single varietal rosé expression.

A refreshing English white wine, with all the aromas of a traditional Bacchus. With hints of citrus orchard and stone fruits accompanies by floral notes to bring you a fresh and clean finish.
Pairs perfectly with fish, pastas and light dishes. Best served chilled. Also perfect to simply enjoy on its own.
This Bacchus is our best yet and was picked from only the very best grapes from our vineyard. All our grapes are picked by hand and we specifically pick through and choose only the ripest and highest quality grapes
Burn Valley Chardonnay 2022 (6 Bottles) Fakenham, Norfolk, England

Due to an ideal vintage in 2022, Matt Abbey our winemaker, has produced our first still Chardonnay; with pleasing results. Hand-harvested fruit from our vineyard and fermented in stainless steel. Aged in a combination of new and aged Hungarian oak for six months.
Beautiful aromas of honeysuckle, vanilla and tropical fruits leading to a soft, buttery palate with stone fruits and a soft textured finish. Eleven barrels have been produced and one to enjoy for years to come. Perfect with richer foods. 13.5%
