Saffron Grange Blanc de Blancs 2021 (6 Bottles) Saffron Walden, Essex, England

We are so thrilled to introduce our first ever Saffron Grange Blanc de Blancs; a style of wine that we personally love here and have wanted to showcase for a while. Due to a bumper crop of Chardonnay in 2021 we were able to finally achieve this and now it’s ready for you to get your hands on!
This signature vintage wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, gently pressed and then aged for a minimum of 26 months in bottle and on its’ yeast lees and was disgorged in the summer to allow the wine to fully integrate before its release.
This Blanc de Blancs is abundant with orchard fruits, apple blossom and candied lemon on the nose with delicate yuzu, white peaches and a hint of flaky pastry on the palate. The finish is long with an elegant, flinty minerality.
We recommend enjoying this wine chilled on its own as an aperitif or, with seared scallops, creamy chicken cooked in a white wine sauce or with artisanal British cheeses.

The Afanc: a mythical beast who slinks in the depths of a Welsh mountain lake. It is said to prey upon any foolish enough to fall into its pristine waters.
This is a blend of aromatic white varietals, Phoenix, Reichensteiner and Schönburger, from our 22 year old vineyard in Pen-y-Clawdd.

This wine offers vibrant flavours of elderflower and juicy pear, creating a fresh and lively palate. Delicate notes of tropical passion fruit add an enticing aromatic layer, enhancing its crisp and refreshing character. The bright fruit profile is balanced with subtle floral undertones, delivering a well-rounded and elegant finish. Perfect for warm days or pairing with light dishes, this wine showcases a harmonious blend of freshness and aromatic complexity.
Laurel Red 2023 (6 Bottles) Driffield, East Yorkshire, England

Our medium bodied Laurel Red is a velvety blend of Rondo and Pinot Noir.
This perfectly combines ripe red fruit flavours such as plump cherries and plums with fine tannins and a balanced acidity, and has been matured in oak barrels for a well rounded character.
This red wine is best served with red meats and pasta dishes.
