Forty Hall Vineyard Ortega 2023 (6 Bottles) Enfield, London, England

£121.00
by Wines by Cellars

The latest release from FHV. A zesty Ortega, a young and fresh wine that is full of flavour and highly drinkable!

Within an hour of harvesting the grapes are taken to our winemaker Will Davenport at the award winning Davenport's Vineyard and pressed on the same day to retain the natural flavours of the grapes.

Ortega is a German grape that is earlier to ripen and known for its low acidity. Medium bodied, zesty, crisp and fruity, it is a perfect aperitif or pairs well with seafood and spicy foods.

Llaethliw Rosé Wine (6 Bottles) Aberaeron, Llaethliw, Wales

Bright watermelon flesh in colour, this blend of Orion, Regent and Phoenix offers a pleasant floral nose with hints of juicy stone fruits and crisp red apple.

Once in the mouth you will expirience bags of juicy citrus acidity with some notes of rasberry and sour cherry.

Certainly one for the warmer summer months, to be enjoyed in the sunshine with friends or as an aperitif.

Coolhurst Ktima Gerovassiliou Malagousia (6 Bottles) Horsham, West Sussex, England via Greece

£124.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND DELIVERY INCLUDED

NECTAR FROM A DIFFERENT HECTARE

This very fine bottle of white wine comes from the exceptional Ktima Gerovassiliou, who are veritable magicians. It is important to know that, in a market now well represented by the indigenous Malagousia varietal, this estate was responsible for rescuing said grape from extinction in 1981. This baby is the benchmark of the varietal and comes from immaculate 74 acre slopes in Epanomi.

It’s all in here; white pear, mango and lemon zest on the nose and a mouthful of refreshing fruit with a hint of mountain herbs underpinned by a delicious flinty, mineral backbone. Obviously this is a natural partner to Greek and Mediterranean food but it has the kahunas to stand up to Thai spice too. If you like Sauvignon Blanc or Bacchus you’re going to love this.

Missing Gate Pinot Blanc 2021 (6 Bottles) Chelmsford, Hampshire, England

£165.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

100% fermented in neutral Burgundy barrels, full malolactic fermentation followed by periodic lees stirring.

Complex nose with aromas of juicy stone fruits, hazelnut and citrus zest wrapped around a core of minerality. The palate is rich, poised and expressive, with great texture and balance. The finish is long and focused, with lingering flavours of ripe nectarine and crushed almonds.
