Bacchus is the premium still wine variety of the UK. It has a wonderfully aromatic, gooseberry and lime nose and a fresh palate with hints of kiwi and crisp green apple. Produced from Pinot Noir and Reichensteiner in the traditional method, an off-dry sparkling rosé with blushing damask rose tones which come to life thanks to the inexhaustible stream of bubbles. The palate conjures up sweet summer fruit, think strawberry, raspberry & pear, with a half-squeeze of lemon.
Melbury Vale Vermouth Mist (6 Bottles) Shaftesbury, Dorset, England

This aromatised wine is our Dorset answer to “vermouth”! The white wine base is from our Dorset grown grapes. We bump up the ABV of these wines by fortifying with a small amount of our wine spirit distilled at Melbury Vale. We then blend with all natural extracts and lime syrup. Because of the slight fortification of this wine, it has a longer shelf life once opened. We recommend a bottle of our aromatised wine can stay open in the fridge for up to 2 weeks – but we don’t expect it to last that long! This amazingly zingy and refreshing wine is best served really chilled. You can serve it in a pitcher with ice and garnish with fresh mint, or pour into a glass over ice with Gin to create a Gin Mist! It’s so refreshing it is perfect with salty snacks as an aperitif!
