Harrow & Hope Pinot Meunier 2019 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England

£228.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

85% of this wine was fermented in stainless steel to preserve the unique aromatic qualities of this variety. The rest was fermented in a 500 litre oak puncheon to build structure and length. This is a naturally soft and elegant wine with a subtle floral nose but also has a savory, saline edge. The palate has a moreish quality because of the soft acid profile and elegant almost feather light feel, with the saline finish really drawing you back to have another glass. This wine seems to get better every time I try it. Being the first iteration it’s difficult to say how long it might go on for but if balance is the key to longevity then this has it in abundance.

Mowbarton Estate Sparkling Wine (6 Bottles) Mudgley, Somerset, England

Mowbarton Estate Sparkling Wine will turn any event into a magnificent celebration. Here are just a few of the comments we have had. Why not buy a bottle - or more - now and see what they mean.

With a pale gold colour and fine sustained mousse, this wine achieves an attractive balance of soft, cooked apple/tarte tatin flavours with a fresh, slightly grassy English hedgerow character.'

Neil Tully, Master of Wine

'...totally loved it. It had a lovely crisp taste and we all thought that it tasted excellent.'

Denise Bottrill, Taste Somerset

‘less acidity than champagne ... delicious and rather drinkable,’

Will Purcell, bon viveur

Henners Gardner Street Classic 2023 (6 Bottles) Herstmonceux, East Sussex, England

£132.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Gardner Street has the classic floral, elderflower note we have come to know of contemporary Bacchus, married with a touch of ripe stone fruit from the barrel fermented Chardonnay.

Sourced from vineyard partners in Essex and Kent we harvested the vineyard parcels separately and fermented as small lots to allow the expression of their respective sites to shine through. 30% of the blend was fermented in neutral 300L French oak barrels and
allowed to go through malolactic fermentation, while the remaining parcels were fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel and did not go through malolactic fermentation.
