A vibrant expression of English white wine, crafted from a single vineyard plot with a south-easterly slope. This dry, stainless-steel fermented Bacchus offers a bright and clear appearance, showcasing the variety’s hallmark freshness.
The nose is enticingly aromatic, with lively notes of elderflower, zesty citrus peel, and crisp green apple, complemented by delicate herbaceous undertones.

De Haan Altés Diluvio Albariño 2024 (6 Bottles) Rías Baixas, Spain

In addition to working with his wife Núria Altés on their ambitious joint project in Terra Alta, Herència Altés, Rafael De Haan has spent the last 10 years sourcing wines across Spain for his excellent négociant business, Bodegas Abanico. In the process he fell in love with the diverstiy of Spanish terroir, especially some lesser-known appellations and unusual varietals. This inspired him to launch the De Haan Altés Custom Cuvées project; Rafael partners with local winemakers he has known for years to craft unique, exceptionally-made cuvees that are the ultimate expressions of their respective terroirs.
Straw colour with a steely green rim. Bright and clean. Varied aromas, fruit and citrus predominating, apple and stone-fruit hints, with some flower notes. Tasty and well-structured in the mouth. Intense aftertaste with fruity and floral hints.
12.5% ABV.

On the nose the aroma of baked apple is balanced by delicate floral notes of waterlily. On the palate, mouthwatering orchard fruit flavours are perfectly complemented by a fresh acidity. At the finish, a crisp minerality, with an abundant creamy mousse.
