Kerry Vale Ridgeway White Blend (6 Bottles) Pentreheying, Shropshire, England

Crisp citrus and herbaceous notes entwine with hints of vanilla and smoke. Softly oaked with a smooth, balanced and refreshing finish.
Named after the Kerry Ridgeway (an ancient drovers route) which lies just south of the vineyard and follows the ridgetop overlooking Wales on the East and England on the West.

This wine is also Zero Dosage and crafted from selected hand-picked Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc grapes gently pressed to extract the highest quality cuvee juice. A portion of the juice underwent primary fermentation in large French new oak barrels with subsequent prolonged lees contact in barrel prior to blending.
After secondary fermentation this wine enjoyed 44 months or more on-lees maturation in bottle, all of which has helped to create a beautifully balanced and elegant Sussex sparkling wine with layers of complexity, great poise and length.
On the nose the wine offers aromas of pear, peach and apricot complimented by a touch of brioche.

A lighter take on Sauvignon Blanc due to its earlier picked and moderate credentials but no less flavoursome. Aromatic nose of citrus, guava and passionfruit complexed with subtle dried herbs, light spice, and cleansing acidity. Elegant and refreshingly vibrant and long to finish. Pair with Goat’s cheese salad.
