An aroma that is intense with notes of grapefruit, green apple, and hints of floral and herbal undertones. Crisp acidity, medium-bodied, with flavors of citrus, stone fruits, and a subtle hint of sweetness. Clean and refreshing, with a lingering minerality.

100% Bacchus – a dry still white wine
A cool climate grape variety most similar to a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. It is characterised by intense aromas of elderflower and grapefruit combined with a fruity palate of apple, elderflower and herbaceous notes and a crisp dry finish.
Albourne Estate Red Pinot Noir 2019 (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England

This is our second vintage of Red Pinot Noir and displays a deeper, richer ruby colour and a more complex nose than our 2018 version. This is partly due to the vintage and partly due to increased use of the ‘saignee’ method during winemaking. The nose offers aromas of rich dark berries including black cherries backed by notes of cigarbox, black olives and dark chocolate. On the palate it delivers excellent body for a cool climate Pinot Noir with mature soft tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and a harmonious lingering finish. All of this wine has spent 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels before being bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered, under cork to allow gentle ageing.
Highly enjoyable with charcuteries cheese and nuts as an aperitif and great with a casserole or barbecued meats and vegetables.
