Gnarly Head Pinot Noir 2022 (6 Bottles) Lodi, USA

£149.00
by Bancroft Wines

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

The Gnarly Head story started with the old and gnarly head-trained vines of Zinfandel in the Lodi, which are among the oldest in California.  The Gnarly Head team has since expanded the range to include many other wines, all sourced from some of the best vineyards in California. All the wines are marked by the signature Gnarly house style which is big, juicy and deliciously drinkable.

This Pinot Noir offers enticing aromas of black cherry, plum jam, roasted coffee beans, and spice. On the palate, a rich blend of raspberry, red currant, and ripe plum is complemented by subtle vanilla notes. Silky tannins and bright fruit create a harmonious profile, making this wine a perfect match for mushrooms or grilled meats.

13.5% ABV.

Hanwell Eglantine R&R Red Blend (6 Bottles) Hickling Pastures, Nottinghamshire, England

£144.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Rondo and Regent both deliver distinct flavours. The Rondo has a smoky aroma and is the initial flavour, think Summer barbeques. The tannins and dark fruits of the hedgerow, sloes, damsons and blackberries then kick in delivering a round rich mouth.

This rare creation is Eglantine’s first red wine for a decade! Made from the grapes of a small quantity of red grape vines. Regent and Rondo grape varieties have a short growing season, allowing them to ripen well in the Nottinghamshire climate. Made into wine in South Nottinghamshire by international award winning maker Tony Skuriat, a true local wine!

This wine is a blend across multiple vintages: 2017 through to 2022. The juice began it’s fermentation on the skins, giving it a deep red colour and rich tannins.

Saffron Grange Sparkling Rosé 2022 (6 Bottles) Saffron Walden, Essex, England

£168.00

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

The ever-popular Sparkling Rosé returns!

This wine is made from a blend of 55% Pinot Meunier and 45% Pinot Noir and aged for 18 months on its lees.

The grapes were picked in October following a record-breaking hot summer here at Saffron Grange. The result is a delicious sparkling wine packed with strawberries and a underlying hint of jamminess.

The Sparkling Rosé is salmon pink in colour, with a vibrant mousse. The nose is greeted with sumptuous wild strawberries and baked apricots followed by ripe peaches, cream and the richness of hazelnut on the palate. Delicious on its own or why not try with Asian style dishes like sticky duck pancakes.

This Sparkling Rosé would be the perfect sparkling wine to treat someone special with or toast with at those special occasions.

Harrow & Hope Brut Reserve No. 8 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England

£204.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Our multi-vintage blend uses fruit from all varieties and areas of our single vineyard to produce a wine that displays the unique qualities of the whole site. Using reserve wines, aged in oak, that have been carefully built up and nurtured from our very first harvest, we can add layers of complexity and texture to each wine. Every numbered release has it’s own identity and make up, which we love to celebrate. No 8 is based on the wonderful Pinot year that is 2019. It was a cooler and longer ripening season than 2018 and gives this wine a more elegant and focussed structure. The pronounced Pinot character is already giving lovely toasty complexity which will continue to build over the next few years. Enjoy on release but will also reward further ageing.
