Domaine Pinchinat Côtes de Provence Rosé 2024 (6 Bottles) Provence, France

£117.00
by Bancroft Wines

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Domaine Pinchinat has quietly been producing organic wines since 1990, long before it was a trendy word in the region. The property has belonged to the same family for over two centuries and is now expertly managed by Alain de Welle. Situated at the foot of the famous Montagne Sainte-Victoire, 25km east of Aix en Provence, the winery has 75 acres of vineyards at 280m above sea level. The soils here are composed of clay and limestone making it a haven for vine growing.

Pale pink in colour and light in style, it is a classic Provence rosé to the core. Delicate hints of melon, peach and apricot on the nose are also present on the palate. The finish is persistent and fresh.

12.5% ABV, Organic.

Promoting biodiversity and soil health the estate has established a culture of regenerative farming, a system that allows the crafting of wines through environmentally conscious and sustainable methods. This Chardonnay is an enchanting blend of orange blossom, subtle notes of toasty brioche and bright citrus fruit on the bouquet, all enhanced by a pronounced limey intensity. Lean and linear in structure, hints of peaches and cream add a delicate layer of complexity, underscored by a zesty citrus note culminating in a long and satisfying finish.
