Coolhurst Viña Echeverría Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc (6 Bottles) Horsham, West Sussex, England via Valle de Curicó, Chile

£80.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND DELIVERY INCLUDED

NECTAR FROM A DIFFERENT HECTARE

This heavenly wine is made by one of my fabulous wine-buddies, Roberto Echeverría and the jazzy new label is designed by his English wife Julia who grew up down the road from Coolhurst in Copthorne!

The grapes for this wine are grown in a single vineyard in the Entre Cordilleras area of the Curicó Valley, at an altitude of 243 metres. Situated on the 35th parallel south, between the towering Andes Mountains and the cool Pacific Ocean, the cooling influence of the oceanic breeze allows the grapes to achieve outstanding fruit aromas and exceptional colour concentration. The rows are planted in an east-westerly direction, to maximise the sun’s exposure.

This is an absolute cracker and incredible value for money! This concentrated golden wine has a complex nose of mature peaches, apricots and honey, with notes of quince jam and creamy honeyed flavours enlivened by a good level of acidity. Rich, intense and full bodied, with a long and elegant finish. Serve nice and cold!

Black Chalk Classic Sparkling White 2021 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England

£240.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

A sophisticated blend of 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, and 12% Pinot Meunier, this wine embodies elegance and precision. The Chardonnay-led profile delivers a vibrant fruit focus, while a touch of malolactic fermentation adds a layer of richness and texture, perfectly balanced by the wine’s hallmark freshness.

On the palate, expect a textured and full-bodied experience, supported by bright acidity (8.5g/l) and subtle sweetness (5.4g/l residual sugar). The wine is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees, enhancing complexity, with an additional 6 months on cork post-disgorgement to ensure perfect integration.

A versatile choice for any occasion. Enjoy as an aperitif with crisps and canapés, or elevate everyday dining by pairing with fried chicken. For a more refined match, complement its freshness and texture with shellfish such as oysters, crab, or prawns.
