The winery is a family-owned business, founded for the Arizu family in 1901 that has been producing high-quality wines for generations. A yellow colour white blend with light golden and greenish tones. On the nose it is expressive and vivacious, with floral notes and white fruit aromas like peach, pear and pineapple standing out. Made with 100% estate grown Bacchus. Pale straw in colour with a floral bouquet. The palate is fresh, crisp and lively with floral and blossom hints.

Winding Wood Brut Reserve 2019 (6 Bottles) Hungerford, Berkshire, England

Our elegant 2019 sparkling is perfect for all occasions. Pale straw in colour with a stream of fine bubbles, our brut reserve has a well-developed autolytic character on the nose with aromas of English apples, summer fruit and a toastiness on the palate. It has a rich mouth feel and will continue to develop further complexity with bottle age.
The grapes were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed. After blending, the wine underwent a secondary fermentation in bottle and then spent 36 months on its yeast lees and a further 6 months on cork in cellar. Our first disgorgement of the 2019 vintage was released to wine club members in 2023.
