This Grillo captures the essence of the Sicilian landscape and its sun-drenched southern charm, offering a wine full of freshness and vibrant character. Aromas of exotic flowers and ripe tropical fruits gracefully unfold on the nose, while the palate is seduced by its elegance and intensity. Lively and expressive, it’s a true reflection of Sicily’s bold and beautiful spirit.

Kaiken Ultra Malbec (6 Bottles) Mendoza, Argentina

Colour: Deep, intense red with purple/violet hues.
Nose: Intense aromas of purple fruits and violets, with notes of white flowers and black fruits, plus hints of white pepper and clove and subtle vanilla from oak.
Palate: A smooth, silky entry with rounded, well-integrated tannins, balanced structure and refreshing acidity. Fruit flavours of blackberries and raspberries carry through, complemented by delicate wood and spice, with a long finish that some tasters note as touched by liquorice.
Style/Origin: A single-varietal Malbec sourced from three Uco Valley sites (Altamira, Vistalva/Vistaflores and Gualtallary), aged around 12 months in French oak.
Pairing: Grilled red meats, stews, and mature cheeses.

As its name suggests this wine is made of selected base wines from multiple vintages to produce an approachable and immediately enjoyable style. Others call this style ‘non-vintage’ – we just prefer the name ‘multi-vintage’! The blend of this wine will vary slightly each year in order to maintain a consistent style, but it will typically be a combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir or Pinot Meunier and will undergo 3 years on-lees ageing.
Generous and soft on the palate, this wine is open and expressive, exhibiting delightful panettone-like aromas of sweet baked bread, dried apricots, nuts and candied citrus peels.
