Made largely from traditional English Varieties like Seyval and Reichensteiner it has a large dollop of Pinot Noir to enhance its structure, hints of lemon curd and apple tart with a creamy long finish.
Produced each year in the traditional method the wine spends a minimum of 2 years on lees before disgorging.

Our multi-vintage blend uses fruit from all varieties and areas of our single vineyard to produce a wine that displays the unique qualities of the whole site. Using reserve wines, aged in oak, that have been carefully built up and nurtured from our very first harvest, we can add layers of complexity and texture to each wine. Every numbered release has it’s own identity and make up, which we love to celebrate. No 8 is based on the wonderful Pinot year that is 2019. It was a cooler and longer ripening season than 2018 and gives this wine a more elegant and focussed structure. The pronounced Pinot character is already giving lovely toasty complexity which will continue to build over the next few years. Enjoy on release but will also reward further ageing.
Dunesforde Queen of The North Classic Cuvée 2020 (6 Bottles) York, North Yorkshire, England

Introducing our own Solaris grapes to this award winning wine.
It now consists of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Dunesforde Solaris grapes with 18 months of lees aging. It still has the same class and flavours of orchard fruits and brioche bread as the 2019 vintage but with a hint of floral tones.
