Crafted from grapes harvested from the sunniest corner of the vineyard, this Sparkling Red marks an exciting debut. A delightful blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, it charms with its playful and fruit-forward character.

On the nose, it evokes the vibrant aroma of fresh strawberries on a warm summer’s day. The palate delivers a harmonious medley of cherry, wild berries, and a subtle touch of liquorice and spice, all beautifully balanced by a distinctive chalky acidity, a hallmark of the South Downs terroir.

Effervescent and undeniably captivating, this wine is as much a celebration as it is an indulgence.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne L’Ormarins MCC Brut NV (6 Bottles) Western Cape, South Africa

£122.00
by Bancroft Wines

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.

A lively stream of fine bubbles lifts aromas of sherbet and lemon cream biscuits on the nose. On the palate, it is vibrant, fresh, and crisp, with the bright citrus flavours hinted at on the nose immediately coming through. Tangy lime and grapefruit are complemented by a marmalade twist, while subtle notes of apple and toast add complexity and depth. The wine is beautifully balanced, elegant, and composed, finishing with a smooth, dry conclusion.

12.5% ABV. Vegan Friendly.

£129.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

A complex and textured 'orange wine' made with 100% skin-contact Pinot Gris and produced with minimal intervention from start to finish. This wine is part of our new Don't Feed The Ponies range of more experimental wines, a reference to a campaign on Dartmoor National Park to discourage visitors from feeding the wild horses that roam there. The source of the River Dart begins way up in the heart of the moors, and it's the river that influences how our grapes grow. For every bottle purchased from this range, we'll donate 25p to the Dartmoor Preservation Association to preserve the natural habitat.
