Brilliantly aromatic with floral scents of elderflower and apple blossom combined with gooseberry and greengage plus hints of Sicillian lemon. It also has herbaceous notes of freshly cut grass and wild nettles on the nose.
The palate is delightfully zesty and fresh with citrus flavours of lemon peel and grapefruit alongside gooseberry and passionfruit. There are herbal notes of lemongrass and parsley, followed by a touch of salty minerality on the finish. It is beautifully balanced with uplifting lime acidity and nice length.
Perfect served chilled with seafood such as ‘moules marinères' or flat fish such as lemon sole, plaice, brill or turbot. Enjoy it with goats cheese, or asparagus drizzled with lemon butter.
