An exciting ruby red medium-bodied English wine. Dedham Vale Reserve yields inviting red berry aromas while developing complex flavours of redcurrants, raspberries and liquorice, leavened by gentle tannins from time spent ageing in French Limousine oak barrels that linger lovingly on the palate.
It is made by blending four different varieties of grape - Rondo, Dornfelder, Dunkelfelder and Pinot Noir. It is drinking well now at 16°C and will develop over the coming years. The Reserve is a perfect accompaniment to all meat and pasta dishes and an imaginative alternative to Claret.

The grape were from the ripest plots across our two site picked around the end of the third week of October.

Isabel Estate is one of the original Marlborough vineyards with some of the oldest vines in the region on original rootstock. Throughout the 1980s the couple planted key noble varietals and began to deliver fruit of exceptional quality, in high demand from premium and internationally renowned wine producers. Under the leadership of Chief Winemaker Jeremy McKenzie, the winery continues to build its reputation for award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir but is also producing world class Chardonnay. Recognised and awarded, the estate has won. All fruit is estate grown from the 54 hectares of vines, most of which are now organic.
This Pinot Noir is a mesmerising ruby-red hue sets the stage for an aromatic experience that unfolds with a symphony of wild flowers, fragrant violets, and lively red cherry notes. The palate reveals rich flavours, with the essence of black cherry, and dried herbs weaving together seamlessly. An elegant subtle rosé, suggesting hints of strawberry, violets and cream. The palate is crisp and refreshing with flavours of raspberry, vanilla and cream.
Winemaker's Notes: A dry, crisp and delicate rosé. The Pinot noir used to make this rosé was crushed and cold macerated for 14 hours to extract both colour and body. It then underwent fermentation 35% in American oak the remainder in stainless steel tank.
