Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine has great phenolic maturity and a salty herb-sour edge to intense almost tarry dark Garnacha. The palate has a fantastic acid-tannin reach which drags clay spice and floral red berry along and along and along ... It’s long, complex, fresh, vital and complete.

Elegant, smooth red made from 100% Pinot Noir
An elegant. smooth red with an air of sophistication. Very pale ruby with a few fine legs. It has an appealing floral scent of peonies and violet that mingle with soft ripe summer fruits including red cherry, plum and raspberry plus a subtle hint of vanilla and mildly toasted notes. The palate is vibrant and bursting with bright, juicy red fruits such as strawberry, morello cherry, redcurrant and rosehip.
It is wonderfully smooth with silky tannins that melt into the wine and savoury undertones that give it depth of flavour. This delicious Pinot Noir shows excellent balance with uplifting freshenss and seamless integration of a trace of oak plus lingering finish.

This sweet vermouth has been hand-crafted from distilled Sauvignon wine, blended with Pinot Noir and carefully selected botanical infusions of herbs, spices and citrus peel.
Beautifully bitter wormwood aromas are intertwined with dark notes of cacao and coffee, creamy undertones of vanilla, earthy rooibos tea leaves, and sweetness from caramelised Albury honey. 2018 White Pinot is made from gently handled Pinot Noir which avoids the colour of the skins. The wine was matured in two to five year old French oak barriques for 12 months prior to bottling in December 2020. Pale straw in colour with evident peach , rose petal and honeysuckle on the nose this complex wine displays a fullness rare amongst English wines. Rich and silky in texture, and balanced with a steely backbone of acidity this complex wine, drinking well at the time of release, will continue to mature with grace in the years ahead.
Kaiken Ultra Malbec (6 Bottles) Mendoza, Argentina

Colour: Deep, intense red with purple/violet hues.
Nose: Intense aromas of purple fruits and violets, with notes of white flowers and black fruits, plus hints of white pepper and clove and subtle vanilla from oak.
Palate: A smooth, silky entry with rounded, well-integrated tannins, balanced structure and refreshing acidity. Fruit flavours of blackberries and raspberries carry through, complemented by delicate wood and spice, with a long finish that some tasters note as touched by liquorice.
Style/Origin: A single-varietal Malbec sourced from three Uco Valley sites (Altamira, Vistalva/Vistaflores and Gualtallary), aged around 12 months in French oak.
