Oastbrook Estate Sparkling Rosé 2015 (6 Bottles) Robertsbridge, Kent, England

Deep Cherry red rose develops a splash of fruits and flavours of cherries and blackberries, herb, spice and dried Orange peel; it has refreshing strawberry aromas with notes of brioche , which become accentuated after time in the glass with a long fresh finish.
A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier The grapes were pressed in a traditional Coquard press. After fermentation the base wines were kept separate and remained on their gross yeast lees over winter to develop additional complexity and richness. The base wines did not go through malolactic fermentation. Bottled in May 2016 the Rose was disgorged on September 2021 and has spent 63 months on the lees.

Modern white wines are generally pressed from their skins prior to fermentation. Orange wine is a term given to white wines that have been fermented and aged on their skins.
2022 Litmus Orange is produced from from 100% hand harvested Bacchus. The Bacchus was fermented and remained for six weeks on skins without sulphur dioxide.
Pale gold in colour the wine displays hazelnut, fennel and marzipan characters on the nose. The palate has a touch of Vanilla spice, is incredibly generous and complex and boasts a long broad palate with a gripping astringency and smooth, long finish. Enjoy with oily meats and spicy dishes.
Astley Acacia Barrel Kerner (6 Bottles) Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, England

Undoubtedly a first for the UK, this bright, but noticeably barrel aged wine combines our unique old Kerner vines with an unusual 100% Acacia barrel. Great with a cheeseboard or white meats.
Made of: 98% Kerner, 2% Madeleine Angevine
Tastes of: Ripe lemon, Gently woody & textural
Sweetness: Dry
Acidity: Medium high/High
Barrel: Light but noticeable. 3 months in first use, light toast barrel.
The inspiration for our unusual 100% Acacia barrel came from the fact that we grow Kerner. This variety is famously grown in Alto Adige (Alpine Italy) where a traditional practice is fermenting and ageing it in Acacia. Compared to Oak, Acacia is more subtle, and adds flavours of honey & flowers.
For the barrel's first use, we aged our Kerner from 2019 for 3 months, followed by several years in bottle. The result is a mouthwatering but textural wine that tastes of spiced lemon, with a gently woody midpalate. Pair with cheese, white meats, and rich fish dishes.

To build texture and complexity the Estate Bacchus was 82% fermented in stainless steel and 18% in neutral Burgundy barrels with periodic lees stirring. Delicate and floral with flavours of ripe orchard fruits and spring blossom. This aromatised wine is our Dorset answer to “port” style wines and is a favorite of ours on a chilly evening! The rosé base wine is Dorset grown TDA and Dornfelder grapes. We bump up the ABV of these wines by fortifying with a small amount of our wine based distilled spirit. We then blend with all natural extracts and pure sugar cane. Because of the slight fortification of this wine, it has a longer shelf life once opened. We recommend a bottle of our aromatised wine can stay open in the fridge for up to 2 weeks – but we don’t expect it to last that long! This amazingly rich, slightly sweetened wine is best served at room temp, curled up under a big blanket by a fire. It’s so delicious it will become your go-to winter warmer!
