A vibrant English sparkling wine with bright citrus notes and crisp freshness. It has a medium lemon colour and fine delicate bubbles. Attractive aromas of acacia blossom and lemon peel mingle with orchard fruits, including green apple and ripe pear plus mild brioche and subtle notes of pastry. On the palate it is deliciously crisp and dry with zest acidity and a lively mousse. Citrus flavours of lemon and yuzu marry greengage and mirabelle plum alongside exotic hints of kumquat and cashew nut. It shows a wonderful purity and saline minerality with a tangy finish.
Serve this dry, sparkling wine well-chilled in a flute as an aperitif. Pair it with canapés including smoked salmon blinis or fish goujons. Enjoy it with Japanese sushi amnd sashimi. The first Bacchus in our Sandridge Barton range offers up a broader and richer expression. Whole-bunched pressed Bacchus, fermented in both stainless steel and third-fill oak barrels before being matured for a further 8 months in old French oak barrels for maturation. The wine is unfiltered and has spend a further 10 months in bottle prior to release.
The palate is alive and bursting with lemon pith, melon and kiwi flavours, lifted by a lime-like acidity and some subtle oak tannin. This dry, textual and broad Bacchus shows a different side to UK's fourth most planted grape variety.

Every year to pay homage to this special lad we name a wine after him (which of course he chooses!!) and this year is his delicious "Chilli Cat Cuvee", cheers "Chilli".

A fabulous sparkling Blanc de Noirs with great depth of flavour.
The colour is lemon gold with a fine stream of tiny bubbles. Floral aromas of white iris & peony marry stone fruit and cherry on the nose with the mildest touch of vanilla and hazelnut.
The palate is fruit-driven with yellow peach, ripe quince and notes of medlar apple. It has exceptional balance and a persistent mousse with lingering citrus flavours alongside a lovely nutty, pistachio and almond finish.
Excellent served chilled with seafood crustaceans such as Dublin Bay prawns, langoustines or lobster.
Also good with tuna or swordfish. Try it with monkfish wrapped in parma ham. Pairs well with cold meats and mild charcuterie or terrines such as chicken and rabbit terrine. Perfect with beef carpaccio..
