However, as the winemaking process was non-organic, this vintage will be offered exclusively to tour groups and will not be available for retail sale. The Rondo is whole bunch pressed and fermented in Stainless Steel tanks to preserve the rich berry fruits. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are whole bunch pressed and aged in French oak 225L barrels to add smooth structure and body. There are aromas of Citrus, Mulberry, blackcurrants and strawberries coupled with delicious summer fruit freshness on the palate. Enjoy on its own or with grilled shellfish, salade niçoise, paella, rustic pâtés and terrines, charcuterie and sheep’s cheese. Medium bodied dry wine. 11% abv.

Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases itself behind a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its bouquet exudes the essence of delicate citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit, accompanied by a discernible mineral character. With aeration, the wine unveils invigorating hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. On the palate, the wine possesses a crispness that borders on a steely sharpness, bursting forth with vibrant flavours of gooseberry, peanut, and nettle, courtesy of its ageing on lees.

Here it is! The great 2018 vintage has arrived, our fourth harvest of Lady Elizabeth Rosé. Heralded as one of the best English wine growing years where everything came together, certainly in the South East and particularly Sussex.
Our distinctive pale salmon colour sits alongside deliciously defined fruit. It’s the full gamut of citrus to peach with red fruit scintillation. This wine is built to last and will benefit from extended cork ageing, but nonetheless is also delicious right now and displays our trademark soft mousse and gentle acidity.
