The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This stunning blend is a masterclass in harmony, with Cabernet Sauvignon taking centre stage and showcasing its signature dark fruits, bright cassis, and subtle hints of dried herbs.
The Merlot, meanwhile, brings a subtle yet luxurious touch, adding plush blue fruits and warmth to the mix. As the flavours meld together, the wine is beautifully supported by supple tannins and neatly integrated oak, creating a wonderful taste experience.

The wine presents a lemon/light gold colour, a generous bouquet of ripe pear, peach, honeydew melon, grapefruit and hints quince followed by well-defined and complex fruit characteristics, fresh crisp acidity and minerality with plenty of character on the palate.
100% Alsatian Clone Pinot Blanc, the grapes from our vineyard were handpicked, and pressed in October. After low temperature fermentation to accentuate the thiol aromas the wine was left in tank over winter but not allowed to go to malolactic fermentation, the juice was very clear and required minimal fining and developed a splash of fruits and flavours of fruit with crispy acidity.

A darker and brooding style of rose made from 100% Pinot Noir. Extended skin contact and barrel ageing has added structure and complexity on top of the plush red cherry fruit, floral lift and spice. Our long awaited 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. Part of our Limited-edition range made from grapes harvested from just 2,000 vines planted on our steepest vineyard field called Westrip. These vines have been producing award winning wines from the very beginning with our first release the 2017 winning a silver medal. This was followed by an unprecedented double gold for the 2018 at the 2019 IWSC and 2019 Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters. Most recently our 2021 vintage took home the Global Sauvignon Blanc Master Medal, a pioneering first for English Sauvignon Blanc.

Biddenden's sandy loam over clay soil coupled with modern winemaking techniques, all help to produce this exclusive, single varietal sweet fruity wine.
Light blush in color, this sweet wine is made with late harvest grapes which have been left on the vine to develop higher natural sugars. Flavors of honey, lychee and elderflower adorn this lusciously rich white wine. Schönburger grapes grow particularly well in the UK, because of our maritime climate.
The grapes are pale and plum colored, and have a very high sugar content. With good acidity they produce a very fruity full flavored wine.

Berkshire Breeze is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Made with Madeleine Angevine grapes and natural peach flavour, this refreshing drink perfectly combines the soft, delicious character of ripe peach with a crisp, citrusy profile. Very flavoursome, with a medium body, a fleshy finish and a slightly off-dry character. Vegan friendly.
Best served very chilled. Delightful on its own, or for an extra refreshing twist, serve it over ice with a sprig of mint and a slice of fresh peach. Great also as a cocktail ingredient and for a spritz. Perfect alongside vibrant green salads, grilled fish and fruit tart.
This aromatised wine-based drink is made with Madeleine Angevine grapes fermented at a low temperature in stainless-steel vessels to retain the delicate floral characteristics. Aged for a few months in neutral vessels before release, and then aromatised with natural peach essence.
The bottle has no plastic or metal capsule to avoid unnecessary packaging. A simpler look for a more sustainable future!
