Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.
It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Enjoy this wine with roast beef, mushroom risotto, or game dishes. Well-balanced acidity and medium body create a crisp, lively texture that carries to a refreshing finish. Having taken over the family estate in 2001, Jérémie immediately went about purchasing some fantastic vineyards (which now total 64 hectares), and is slowly converting everything to organic viticulture. His white and red Chapeau wines are young wines meant for easy pleasure, while the clean, mineral L`Innatendu Muscadet is an excellent introduction to Jérémie`s vineyards and winemaking style.
The Chapeau Melon Rouge presents a light cherry colour with a nose of ripe red fruits. This dry red wine reveals a pleasant freshness with light tannins. The palate is gourmet, smooth and fruity.

A wonderfully refreshing, crisp dry white wine with zesty fruit appeal. Bright pale lemon-green with a few legs.
Brilliantly aromatic with floral scents of elderflower and apple blossom combined with gooseberry and greengage plus hints of Sicillian lemon. It also has herbaceous notes of freshly cut grass and wild nettles on the nose.
The palate is delightfully zesty and fresh with citrus flavours of lemon peel and grapefruit alongside gooseberry and passionfruit. There are herbal notes of lemongrass and parsley, followed by a touch of salty minerality on the finish. It is beautifully balanced with uplifting lime acidity and nice length.
Perfect served chilled with seafood such as ‘moules marinères' or flat fish such as lemon sole, plaice, brill or turbot. Enjoy it with goats cheese, or asparagus drizzled with lemon butter. Made from a blend of Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus grapes, grown in the Tamar Valley. The wine has hints of blossom, sherbet and elderflower, a floral and citrus finish with baked apple on the nose. This wine won a BRONZE at the Wine GB West awards in December 2024.
The Tamar Valley was famous for its market gardens and early flowering blooms, especially daffodils. The ‘double white’ was popular for its intense perfume and its creamy white petals.
