This is a versatile English red wine that gets along amicably with a wide variety of dishes. In particular, this Pinot will pair perfectly with rich, earthy flavours. Enjoy with slow-cooked duck ragu and pappardelle, or a risotto of wild mushrooms. It also compliments black truffle rather terrifically too!
Winding Wood Brut Rosé 2020 (6 Bottles) Hungerford, Berkshire, England

This is our second release of sparkling rosé. Pressed, fermented, and bottled at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. The grapes were hand-harvested and a whole bunch pressed. The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle and then spent 18 months on its yeast lees and a further 6 months ‘on cork’. Released June 2023. This is a 100% pinot-based rosé — a departure from our first which contained a blend of chardonnay and pinot.

It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Pairs perfectly with shellfish, fresh salads, and a variety of cheeses.

Davenport Ortega 2023 (6 Bottles) Rotherfield, East Sussex, England

We don't normally produce single variety white wines, but when something is of this quality and so typical of the grape variety, the temptation is sometimes too much.
The 2023 Ortega is made from our oldest organic vines, planted in 1991. It has a mineral earthy style with aromas of yeast and fruit. Ideal with white fish, but also a pleasure to drink on its own.
Melbury Vale Vermouth Mist (6 Bottles) Shaftesbury, Dorset, England

This aromatised wine is our Dorset answer to “vermouth”! The white wine base is from our Dorset grown grapes. We bump up the ABV of these wines by fortifying with a small amount of our wine spirit distilled at Melbury Vale. We then blend with all natural extracts and lime syrup. Because of the slight fortification of this wine, it has a longer shelf life once opened. We recommend a bottle of our aromatised wine can stay open in the fridge for up to 2 weeks – but we don’t expect it to last that long! This amazingly zingy and refreshing wine is best served really chilled. You can serve it in a pitcher with ice and garnish with fresh mint, or pour into a glass over ice with Gin to create a Gin Mist! It’s so refreshing it is perfect with salty snacks as an aperitif!
Roebuck Classic Cuvée 2013 (6 Bottles) Petworth, West Sussex, England

Crafted from fruit picked at optimal ripeness, our 2013 Classic Cuvée displays a wonderful balance of richness, complexity and depth of flavour. Baked apple, buttered toast and layered citrus fruits all combine with the finely textured bubbles to create this lovely vintage sparkling wine.
