he 2019 Blanc de Noirs is an almost equal blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier at 51% and 49% respectively, with a small addition of 3% reserve wine.
It was bottled in September 2020 and disgorged in November 2023, thus spending more than our minimum of three years on lees for our sparkling white wines. It has now spent over a year on cork, which has given us confidence, after tasting of course, that it is in a sweet spot and ready to be released and enjoyed.

It's called Anniversary because it marks 40 years since vines were first planted at Hazel End. Like our gold medal winner of 2009, it is a blend of Huxelrebe and Reichensteiner harvested in a fine year for UK vineyards. Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Crémant de Loire is a beautiful pale gold colour with hints of green, creating a delicate and luminous appearance. It has a gentle effervescence that lingers gracefully. The aroma is a delightful blend of fruity notes, complemented by subtle hints of white flowers like honeysuckle and acacia. On the palate, it offers a harmonious experience with a pleasant dryness, thanks to a balanced level of residual sugars. It provides a delicate and enjoyable taste that lingers long after each sip.

Good structure with a clean finish and attractive bready, baked notes. Intense and supple, this is clean, fresh and has depth. Made by the traditional method with Pinot Noir, Reichensteiner and Scheurebe.
Pinot Noir is one of the primary varieties used in sparkling wine production. It prefers a cooler climate and needs to remain on the vine long enough to capture the aromatics and fruit flavors.

This is our classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. It has a pale silver lime-leaf green appearance, with continuous small bubbles. It is toasty, with under-ripe pineapple and greengage fruit behind; brut-style, balanced with creamy mousse and great freshness, and a long finish. This wine is brilliant as an aperitif on its own or wonderful paired with seafood.
