However, as the winemaking process was non-organic, this vintage will be offered exclusively to tour groups and will not be available for retail sale. Biddenden's sandy loam over clay soil coupled with modern winemaking techniques, all help to produce this exclusive, single varietal sweet fruity wine.
Light blush in color, this sweet wine is made with late harvest grapes which have been left on the vine to develop higher natural sugars. Flavors of honey, lychee and elderflower adorn this lusciously rich white wine. Schönburger grapes grow particularly well in the UK, because of our maritime climate.
The grapes are pale and plum colored, and have a very high sugar content. With good acidity they produce a very fruity full flavored wine.
