The Hanwell Classic is pale gold in colour with delicate, long-lasting bubbles. The beautifully complex bouquet combines aromas of green apples with fresh lemon and delicate toasted notes from ageing for 15 months on the lees in bottle. On the palate, the complexity continues with notes of soft lemon sherbet, biscuit and a yeasty character. Refreshing and perfectly balanced, with a delightfully long finish.
The champagne classic three: pinot meuniere, pinot noir and chardonnay grapes combined in this classic mix. Aged for 15 months on the lees in bottle, riddled, disgorged and ready to enjoy.

This Ditchling Red is 100% Pinot Noir, light fruity style, has aged in old French barrels for 6 months. A soft and fruity red; smooth acidity and light tannic structure with warming red fruit aromas with lots of blackcurrants, cherry and spice on the palate. Only a few English Sauvignon Blancs pass muster with me, and Missing Gate has shot into contention with its delightful, bright, and refreshing character. While the nose and palate are open and citrusy, the superb mid-palate depth and raspy, chalky finish remind me of top-flight Menetou-Salon! The extra dimension of fruit, adding gravitas to the core, is remarkable, and this comes from 80% of the wine being fermented in neutral 500L barrels with 20% going through malolactic fermentation and further lees ageing. These considered techniques add invaluable texture, making this wine complete. It is a glimpse of the future for this grape variety in the UK.
