This Cabernet offers up everything you`d hunt for in Bordeaux, yet this red is from South Africa`s Hardenberg. Deep black in colour with cigar box, pencil shavings and truffle overlaying the ripe, rich red and black fruit beneath. Judicious use of oak and good acidity provides an impressive structure which this pure fruit clings to, offering lingering, fine tannins on the finish.

Missing Gate Sauvignon Blanc 2022 (6 Bottles) Chelmsford, Hampshire, England

Only a few English Sauvignon Blancs pass muster with me, and Missing Gate has shot into contention with its delightful, bright, and refreshing character. While the nose and palate are open and citrusy, the superb mid-palate depth and raspy, chalky finish remind me of top-flight Menetou-Salon! The extra dimension of fruit, adding gravitas to the core, is remarkable, and this comes from 80% of the wine being fermented in neutral 500L barrels with 20% going through malolactic fermentation and further lees ageing. These considered techniques add invaluable texture, making this wine complete. It is a glimpse of the future for this grape variety in the UK.

Berkshire Breeze is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Made with Madeleine Angevine grapes and natural peach flavour, this refreshing drink perfectly combines the soft, delicious character of ripe peach with a crisp, citrusy profile. Our highly anticipated, limited release wine is full-bodied with aromas of blackberry and sweet spice, a palate of crunchy red fruit with polished tannins and a bright finish. Made from 100% Divico grapes.
Divico is a new grape variety in England specifically developed to create a rich, fruit-forward red wine in our cool climate. Our third harvest yielded 356 bottles. The wine is deep red in colour with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, tinned plums and sweet spice. The palate is full bodied with crunchy red fruit and vanilla toffee, polished tannins and a bright finish. Our winemaker thinks this wine is a 'bit of a cracker' with good potential to age.
This limited edition wine is hand labelled, individually numbered and signed. It comes in a gift bag with a detailed tech sheet.
