Deep Cherry red rose develops a splash of fruits and flavours of cherries and blackberries, herb, spice and dried Orange peel; it has refreshing strawberry aromas with notes of brioche , which become accentuated after time in the glass with a long fresh finish.
A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier The grapes were pressed in a traditional Coquard press. After fermentation the base wines were kept separate and remained on their gross yeast lees over winter to develop additional complexity and richness. The base wines did not go through malolactic fermentation. Bottled in May 2016 the Rose was disgorged on September 2021 and has spent 63 months on the lees.

Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine displays a light straw yellow colour, hinting at its bright and refreshing character. The nose is fresh and fruity, with delicate aromas of wildflowers and fresh fruit that create an inviting bouquet. Our Orange Bacchus is a single estate Bacchus sourced from grapes grown in Hawkhurst, Kent and then aged in oak barrels. Orange wine is made in contact with the grape skins in order to extract flavour and texture in a similar way to how red wine is made.
