Our Sauvignon Blanc has its own Characteristics. It is different to a French or New Zealand; it can only be described as wonderfully Cornish. On the nose this wine is lively with notes of lime, passion fruit and pineapple. On the palate it’s crunchy fresh, green apple and tropical fruits with a distinctly Cornish minerality provided by the granite-based soil at Polgoon.

Our first Première Cuvée Rosé is a blend based on the 2016 harvest. The style is a more vinous and gastronomic version of rosé based on the saignée method. A longer lees ageing – the wine was bottled in 2017 and disgorged in 2022 – gives the depth and complexity worthy of our Première range.
The colour is a delicate strawberry pink, with just a suggestion of bronze and onion skin. The bouquet springs from the glass, immediate and assertive, rich with sweet summer raspberry fruit and subtle autumnal blackberry.

Founded in 1825, Champagne Joseph Perrier has been owned and run by the same family since 1888. The cellars stretch over three kilometres and date back to the Gallo-Roman period. All the wines are made with a keen focus on freshness and purity, a theme which runs right through the range and really shows its worth in the vintage cuvées which show impressive energy and poise and remarkable ageing potential.
A brilliant, light-golden yellow hue with delicate copper highlights, offering an elegant visual allure. On the nose, it opens with a refined and subtle bouquet, revealing layers of apples, pears, and white peaches, gradually giving way to more exotic hints of pineapple. The palate is vibrant yet smooth, striking a harmonious balance between complexity, freshness, and body. Our rosé is made from pinot noir grapes sourced from Clayhill Vineyard in nearby Essex. The grapes are hand-picked into small crates then travel the short distance to our winery in Battersea. After a short cold soak, the grapes are pressed and fermented in old French oak.
The wine spends a further 8 months on lees in tank and barrel and 1 year in bottle prior to release. The result is an expressive and textured rosé with elements of strawberries and cream and ripe red cherry.
