Cielo Pinot Grigio 2024 (6 Bottles) Delle Venezie, Italy
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine displays a light straw yellow colour, hinting at its bright and refreshing character. The nose is fresh and fruity, with delicate aromas of wildflowers and fresh fruit that create an inviting bouquet. On the palate, it offers a crisp and well-balanced profile, marked by a subtle touch of minerality. The fruit-forward notes continue through to a persistent finish, accompanied by a gentle aromatic return that adds elegance.
11% ABV. Vegan Friendly.

The wine is pretty much equal quantities of Chardonnay , Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with 15% Reserve Wine from previous vintages going right back to 2010 .
It was disgorged in late 2023after four years on the lees. It still has plenty of room for development and will continue to improve for five or more years.

This blend replaces our highly successful Ditchling Reserve. Using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir Précoce, the wine has been longer in reserve and a large proportion has been barrel aged before bottling. Long aging on the lees has ensured a rich, but still fruity balance. It has lovely poise, classy and complex all held in perfect poise by the bright quintessentially English acidity”.

Feudi del Pisciotto Nero d’Avola 2024 (6 Bottles) Sicily, Italy
