This Pinot Noir offers enticing aromas of black cherry, plum jam, roasted coffee beans, and spice. 2018 White Pinot is made from gently handled Pinot Noir which avoids the colour of the skins. The wine was matured in two to five year old French oak barriques for 12 months prior to bottling in December 2020. Pale straw in colour with evident peach , rose petal and honeysuckle on the nose this complex wine displays a fullness rare amongst English wines. Rich and silky in texture, and balanced with a steely backbone of acidity this complex wine, drinking well at the time of release, will continue to mature with grace in the years ahead.

Bluebell Hindleap Barrel Aged Blanc de Blancs 2017 (6 Bottles) Furners Green, East Sussex, England

Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.
It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Enjoy this wine with roast beef, mushroom risotto, or game dishes. Well-balanced acidity and medium body create a crisp, lively texture that carries to a refreshing finish. Pairs perfectly with shellfish, fresh salads, and a variety of cheeses.

Oastbrook Estate White Pinot Noir 2023 (6 Bottles) Robertsbridge, Kent, England

The wine presents a light gold colour, with subtle red fruit aromas strawberry and red cherries with a hint of acacia and black pepper, this leads to delicioulsy rounded succulent palate balanced by beautifully clean acidity. The wine somehow both cleanses and envelopes on the finish.
100% Pinot Noir, the grapes from our vineyard were handpicked, and pressed in October. After low temperature fermentation to accentuate the thiol aromas the wine was left in tank over winter but not allowed to go to malolactic fermentation, the juice was very clear and required minimal fining and developed a rich aroma of red fruits with a soft creamy palate with crisp acidity. The wine was bottled in March 2024.

This wine is fresh and aromatic, it has aromas of gooseberry, cassis bud and green pineapple on the nose, followed by a zesty palate of pithy pink grapefruit. A classic English Bacchus.
Bacchus grape is a cross between Müller-Thurgau and Silvaner-Riesling and tastes quite like a Sauvignon Blanc.
A race won ‘on the nod’ is thrilling to watch and is so close it is often decided by a photo of the finish. A perfect name for our Bacchus with its crisps, citrus finish. This Bacchus is particularly suited to spring vegetables like asparagus, peas and broad beans, goats cheese, salads without heavy dressings, shellfish and poached or grilled salmon.
