Ortega is an early ripening variety for the UK, which allows us to leave the grapes hanging on the vine as long as possible to achieve the optimum balance of fruit and acid. This is a dry, lightly oaked wine with subtle red apple and elderflower flavours and a hint of vanilla. The style is dry, alcohol 11% and its vegan friendly.

he 2019 Blanc de Noirs is an almost equal blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier at 51% and 49% respectively, with a small addition of 3% reserve wine.
It was bottled in September 2020 and disgorged in November 2023, thus spending more than our minimum of three years on lees for our sparkling white wines. It has now spent over a year on cork, which has given us confidence, after tasting of course, that it is in a sweet spot and ready to be released and enjoyed.

Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Crémant de Loire is a beautiful pale gold colour with hints of green, creating a delicate and luminous appearance. It has a gentle effervescence that lingers gracefully. The aroma is a delightful blend of fruity notes, complemented by subtle hints of white flowers like honeysuckle and acacia. A delightful dry blush rosé wine made from a combined pressing of our Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir, with just enough skin contact to give a lovely pale pink hue. With geranium on the nose, it has a gentle wild strawberry acidity, soft citrus, redcurrant and floral herbaceous notes on the palate.
