Royal Sovereign Rosé is a dry, crisp rosé with a vibrant cerise colour made from hand-harvested Rondo grapes grown in the Tamar Valley. The wine has hints of strawberries, raspberries and summer fruits. Royal Sovereign was one of the most popular strawberry cultivars grown in Tamar Valley market gardens during the first half of the twentieth century.

As with all our Sparkling Wines, it is made using the same traditional method found on the continent, with a secondary fermentation in the bottle.
However, using different grape varieties to those found in the traditional areas of France results in slightly less austere, more aromatic, fruity flavours which have proved to be consistently popular over the years.
