Our elegant rosé is made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, all grown on the best terroirs of the Côtes de Provence A.O.C.
Our secret blend is made to appeal. The big names in Provence have all gone on the same journey; tightening their wines up and restricting the length of the finish, whereas our recipe is considerably more ‘old school’.
The Cinsault variety gives the wine its softness, with the Grenache providing body and the Syrah giving the roundness of the red fruit which is amplified by our special assemblage.
There is plenty of upfront fruit on the palate giving a huge strawberries and cream mouthful, before drifting towards peaches and pears, finally delivering a lemony edge with incredible length and a moreish finish.

Pale golden with subtle aromas of fresh apple and elderflower, our Brut Sparkling Wine is racy and fresh. Bottle maturation provides hints of biscuit on the nose, and butter on the palate. As with all our Sparkling Wines, it is made using the same traditional method found on the continent, with a secondary fermentation in the bottle.
However, using different grape varieties to those found in the traditional areas of France results in slightly less austere, more aromatic, fruity flavours which have proved to be consistently popular over the years.

Robbing Red Breast is a beautiful red wine produced from Rondo Red grapes. A vibrant ruby red appearance with a hint of purple, an aromatic nose with notes of cherry, plum, and hints of spice, earth, and subtle oak. Medium-bodied with flavours of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, and plum, complemented by subtle hints of chocolate and spice. A single variety, single vineyard wine that is produced in very limited quantities. On site at Melbury Vale Vineyard we have 500 established Seyval Blanc vines. Seyval blanc as a grape is ideal for the Dorset climate in that it is low maintenance and ripens beautifully. Come harvest, the bunches of grapes are large and have sugar levels perfectly aligned for producing traditional method sparkling wine. This wine is a pale golden color with fine bubbles typical of a high quality English sparkling wine. On the nose there are aromas of fresh citrus and ripe pear, and on the palate there are bright notes of green apple, elderflower, and meyer lemon.
