Velfrey is a multi-award winning fizz, made from a blend of our Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes. It has won a silver medal in the 2024 Glass of Bubbly Awards, the Best Sparkling White Wine at the Welsh Wine Awards 2024 and has previously been selected by WineGB as one of the UK's Top 100 Wines.
It has a lively pour and excellent clarity. Citrusy and fresh with notes of peach, apricot, apple pastry, and minerality freshness with white florals on the nose. The traditional method provides a touch of cream and brioche-like savouriness.

Our Sauvignon Blanc has its own Characteristics. It is different to a French or New Zealand; it can only be described as wonderfully Cornish. On the palate it’s crunchy fresh, green apple and tropical fruits with a distinctly Cornish minerality provided by the granite-based soil at Polgoon.

Valentin Leflaive CV1830 Blanc de Blancs NV Extra Brut (6 Bottles) Champagne, France

Launched in 2015, Valentin Leflaive was granted the status of ‘négociant-manipulant’ in 2020 enabling the company to manage the whole production chain including the purchase of grapes. A boutique winery was opened in Oger with a traditional ageing cellar dug deep into the chalk. Chef de Caves Christophe Pitois, who looks after the important relationship with the growers, is assisted by talented enologist Clément Galois. Both are from the Champagne region.
The colour reveals golden yellow reflections and a fine effervescence. The nose is expressive, with notes of ripe fruits such as white peach punctuated by brioche and toasted aromas. The attack is creamy and complex. A beautiful aromatic palate finishes on refreshing lemon and citrus notes.
12.5% ABV.

This limited release Pinot Gris is very reminiscent of an Alsace Pinot Gris, richer than the Bacchus and fuller bodied it is very well balanced. In addition to working with his wife Núria Altés on their ambitious joint project in Terra Alta, Herència Altés, Rafael De Haan has spent the last 10 years sourcing wines across Spain for his excellent négociant business, Bodegas Abanico. In the process he fell in love with the diverstiy of Spanish terroir, especially some lesser-known appellations and unusual varietals. This inspired him to launch the De Haan Altés Custom Cuvées project; Rafael partners with local winemakers he has known for years to craft unique, exceptionally-made cuvees that are the ultimate expressions of their respective terroirs.
Straw colour with a steely green rim. Bright and clean. Varied aromas, fruit and citrus predominating, apple and stone-fruit hints, with some flower notes. Tasty and well-structured in the mouth. Intense aftertaste with fruity and floral hints.
