On the back of the hot summer of 2022, we left a further 689 vines of Solaris to ripen further. 28 days after harvesting our main Solaris crop, the berries turned a wonderful golden brown and started to dehydrate on the vine.
Packed full of banana & toffee flavours, lifted with some floral notes and held together with a refreshing acidity. This dessert wine pairs perfectly with some Shropshire Blue cheese.

Ortega is an early ripening variety for the UK, which allows us to leave the grapes hanging on the vine as long as possible to achieve the optimum balance of fruit and acid. This is a dry, lightly oaked wine with subtle red apple and elderflower flavours and a hint of vanilla. The style is dry, alcohol 11% and its vegan friendly.

Settimo Pizzolato is the fifth generation of grower at the estate, a man full of charisma and innovative wisdom. The vines at the Pizzolato estate are on pebbly banks of river deposit, which are irrigated by concrete channels that were put in in the 1950s during Italy’s reconstruction post-war. Ideally located below Constantia Nek, just moments from the bustling Cape Town city centre, Constantia Glen is a picturesque wine estate producing ultra-premium, cool climate white and red wines. Although winemaking began in 1685, recent history begins with the Waibel family, who purchased the land in 1960. Although this land is difficult to farm – as evident by rapid change of ownership from 1813-1960 – the dedication, patience and passion of the Waibel family has proven reward.
This Sauvignon Blanc is bright and pale straw in colour with a subtle green tint. Bold tropical aromas of gooseberry and ripe white peach leap from the glass, complemented by delicate hints of stone fruit, citrus rind, and a refined chalky minerality. These vibrant aromatics seamlessly carry onto the palate, where they marry beautifully with the fresh acidity and textured mouthfeel. The wine is elegant, vibrant, and refined, with excellent fruit concentration and length. Extended lees contact and a touch of 2% Sémillon add depth and richness, balancing the crisp acidity. Made in a classic unwooded style, this Sauvignon Blanc is a delightful drink now, but it will evolve beautifully with 5 to 8 years of ageing under optimal cellaring conditions.

Tuffon Hall Grape Gin 2018 (6 Bottles) Halstead, Essex, England

Tuffon Hall Grape Gin is made using the skins from our hand-picked Bacchus grapes. After we’ve pressed the grapes to make our Bacchus wine, we use the skins to make our grape gin.
The gin is infused with juniper berries, coriander seeds, fresh orange zest without pith, fresh minneola tangelo (a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit), fresh torn bay leaves, some freshly grated lemon zest, and crucially our bacchus grape skins. They are steeped and distilled together in a small batch 200L copper pot gin still.
Serving suggestion: Serve with your favourite tonic, freshly sliced grapes and a slice of lime to give a truly refreshing yet dry finish.
