On the palate, Margot delivers a harmonious medley of citrus notes complemented by the lush melon, peach, and elderflower nuances first hinted at on the nose. With a modest alcohol content of 11%, it maintains a light, breezy character while allowing its intricate flavour profile to shine.

Domaine Haute Févrie Muscadet 2024 (6 Bottles) Loire, France

Domaine la Haute Févrie is found right in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, around 18km south-east of Nantes. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards divided into several plots, which sit on the piece of land that lies between the waters of the Sèvre and the Maine. All of the vines are managed with environmentally friendly priniciples. hand-harvesting, no chemical fertilizers and with yield control. The domaine create single vineyard Muscadet wines enabling the expression of each individual site in every bottle.
The wine is aged for seven months in stainless steel tank, preserving its freshness. Displaying classic citrus and marine aromas, zip and a subtle spritz it is ideal with bivalves (mussels, oysters, etc.)

With passion and purpose Red Hut was launched and embodies the spirit of New Zealand, they are inspired by the iconic red huts that shelter adventurers. This Sauvignon Blanc is bright and expressive, with aromas of lime, gooseberry and passionfruit, alongside hints of lemongrass and fresh herbs. The palate is dry and lively, showing flavours of green apple, lime zest and tropical citrus. The Ortega grapes are hand-harvested and transported to the winery where they are destemmed, crushed, and pressed. The ferment was tasted daily and stopped at desired residual sugar level by chilling and filtering. The yeast was specially selected and was a sweet wine yeast Zymaflore ST. This yeast is susceptible to cold shock, making it easy to stop the ferment.
An aromatic medium sweet wine, well balanced with uplifting aromas of peach, gooseberry and elderflower.

Character: Rich and spicy

Style: Grown in polytunnels, so more full bodied than a typical English red.
Food Pairing: Perfect with a Sunday Roast or other hearty meals.
Deep ruby in colour, with aromas of pepper, dark berries and spice. The palate is medium bodied with gentle tannins and a slight earthiness, flavours of stewed dark fruits and spices. The perfect wine for more full flavoured meat and mushroom based dishes.
Winemakers Notes: A cheats wine in many ways! In our climate we can not ripen either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon as they simply ripen too late, so the grapes for this are grown under cover. The blend is 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet, the grapes are fermented with daily pump overs to extract more colour, depth and body. Towards the end of the fermentation the grapes are pressed and transferred to a mixture of French oak barrels where they remain for over a year. The wine is then bottled unfined and unfiltered.

This single variety is our second Regent since our 2019 vintage – and is worth the wait.
Fermented on skins for three weeks and aged in a mix of both new and aged American and Hungarian oak barrels for twelve months. Aromas of vanilla, cinnamon and hints of white pepper spice. Soft red berry fruits merge well with the fine tannins giving good length and texture. A soft, fruity and spicy red - perfect for red meats. 11.5%
