Henners Gardner Street Rosé 2022 (6 Bottles) Herstmonceux, East Sussex, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Made using overnight maceration and gentle pressing to draw subtle colour from the grapes, here we have a modern marriage of bright Pinot Noir and plush Pinot Meunier. This wine has a seaside salinity and mandarin zest on the nose.
There's a beach pebble minerality texture to the palate along with a blood orange tang. Persistent zing and lift to the finish. Delicious!
Harrow & Hope Pinot Meunier 2019 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
85% of this wine was fermented in stainless steel to preserve the unique aromatic qualities of this variety. The rest was fermented in a 500 litre oak puncheon to build structure and length. This is a naturally soft and elegant wine with a subtle floral nose but also has a savory, saline edge. The palate has a moreish quality because of the soft acid profile and elegant almost feather light feel, with the saline finish really drawing you back to have another glass. This wine seems to get better every time I try it. Being the first iteration it’s difficult to say how long it might go on for but if balance is the key to longevity then this has it in abundance.
Yotes Court ‘Hands and Heels’ Pinot Blanc 2021 (6 Bottles) Maidstone, Kent, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Smooth, lightly oaked & food-friendly dry white wine from 100% Pinot Blanc.
This well-rounded dry wine has aromas of pear with floral notes of lilac and jasmine and a hint of toastiness from a short time in oak. On the palate, it is plump and centred with a fresh finish.
A smooth texture and a long finish makes this Pinot Blanc a versatile wine for food pairing. Try a glass with roast chicken, mild cheeses, creamy pasta sauces and rich egg dishes like quiche lorraine. It also pairs beautifully with international cuisines: creamy curries, Japanese pickles, Middle Eastern harissa.
