Goodworth Brut Pinot Blend 2019 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
This is a perfect and exact blend between Pinot Noir, chosen for its red fruits aroma, its body, depth of flavour and fullness, and Pinot Meunier, our favourite, for its aromatic sweetness, a lush fruitiness and the capacity to acquire the roundness of age comparatively rapidly. The Pinot Noir grape provides the back-bone of our wine, whilst the Pinot Meunier lends softeners and orchard fruit aromas. A beautifully rich golden colour as well as an intense nose with red fruit aromas, such as red cherry, cranberry and redcurrant, are enticing us to take a first sip. A hint of strawberry lingers in the background. A creamy, full mouthfeel contributes to a very long finish. Ideal served on its own as an aperitif or try it alongside a quiche Lorraine or Parma ham.

A rich, ruby red in colour with delicate aromas of cherry and vanilla, there are pomegranate and forest fruits on the palate. On the palate, Margot delivers a harmonious medley of citrus notes complemented by the lush melon, peach, and elderflower nuances first hinted at on the nose. With a modest alcohol content of 11%, it maintains a light, breezy character while allowing its intricate flavour profile to shine.
Crisp acidity enhances the wine’s structure, balancing its vibrant fruitiness and adding a zesty lift that lingers on the palate. This refreshing texture makes Margot both delightful on its own and an excellent companion to food.
Pairing effortlessly with dishes like creamy chicken, pasta, or delicate fish, Margot also shines alongside white Stilton, where its fruity overtones beautifully complement the cheese’s creamy richness.
