Our delicate cool climate Pinot Noir has aromas of bramble fruit, dark cherry, blue fruit and violets. Our Ortega is made hand-picked grapes, harvested early October, the Ortega grapes from Kent started fermenting in our winery on the 6th of October. The pale yellow juice aged in a stainless steel tank and in a 3rd vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.
This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose. The palate has flavours of peach, citrus and flowers leading to a long finish.
Merstone Ortega pairs perfectly with seafood, fish and chicken dishes or can be enjoyed on its own.

Our Orange Bacchus is a single estate Bacchus sourced from grapes grown in Hawkhurst, Kent and then aged in oak barrels. Orange wine is made in contact with the grape skins in order to extract flavour and texture in a similar way to how red wine is made.

A small batch single vintage blend of our Phoenix and Seyval Blanc grown here at Little Waddon using pesticide free regenerative growing tehcniques.
Partially hand de-stemmed and foot crushed, left on skins before a wild fermentation.
Unfiltered and unfined with no sulphur added at any stage.
Tasting: Think of an English Summer day; a nose of elderflower, citrus fruit with a hint of peach, buttery toasted almonds and a well balanced acidity. Dry to off dry. Best served slightly chilled, and to let the wine fully open up don’t return it to the fridge.
