Azienda Vitivinicola Luigi Tacchino Gavi di Gavi 2024 (6 Bottles) Piedmont, Italy

For more than three generations the Tacchino family has produced superb fresh and vibrant wines in Castelletto d`Orba in Monferrato, Piedmont. While Alessio remains close to his vines, it is Romina who welcomes visitors and visits markets.
This wine presents a medium-intensity straw-yellow colour with good luminosity. On the nose, it opens with delicate floral aromas, particularly acacia and linden blossom, followed by subtle fruit notes, led by light peach, and finishing with hints of Mediterranean herbs. The palate mirrors the bouquet with clarity, offering a flavourful and refreshingly bright profile that leaves the mouth feeling exceptionally clean. A gentle almond note lingers as an aromatic aftertaste, rounding out a balanced, smooth, and pleasantly invigorating sip.

Created in 1933 by viticulturalist Peter Morio by crossing Silvaner x Riesling with Muller-Thurgau varieties to create a grape that produces a fine white wine.
