In the glass, Margot presents a pale lemon hue, shimmering with refreshing elegance. The nose unfolds with a captivating bouquet of ripe melon, juicy peach, fresh-cut grass, and delicate elderflower, promising a complex and alluring sensory experience.

Palacios Remondo La Vendimia Garnacha Tempranillo 2022 (6 Bottles) Rioja, Spain

Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine has great phenolic maturity and a salty herb-sour edge to intense almost tarry dark Garnacha. The palate has a fantastic acid-tannin reach which drags clay spice and floral red berry along and along and along ... It’s long, complex, fresh, vital and complete.

The 2023 Ortega is made from our oldest organic vines, planted in 1991. It has a mineral earthy style with aromas of yeast and fruit. Ideal with white fish, but also a pleasure to drink on its own.

Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases itself behind a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its bouquet exudes the essence of delicate citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit, accompanied by a discernible mineral character. With aeration, the wine unveils invigorating hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. On the palate, the wine possesses a crispness that borders on a steely sharpness, bursting forth with vibrant flavours of gooseberry, peanut, and nettle, courtesy of its ageing on lees.

Dunesforde commissioned this Rosé in honour of Queen Cartimandua, Queen of the North (AD43-69). As leader of the largest and most northerly tribe in England, this powerful lady chose to form an alliance with the Roman invaders rather than be wiped out in futile battle. This is our second release of sparkling rosé. Pressed, fermented, and bottled at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. The grapes were hand-harvested and a whole bunch pressed. The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle and then spent 18 months on its yeast lees and a further 6 months ‘on cork’. Released June 2023. This is a 100% pinot-based rosé — a departure from our first which contained a blend of chardonnay and pinot.
