This wine is a pale golden colour with a complex profile. The nose is very aromatic with a herbaceous lead featuring nettles. The palate reflects the bouquet with added citrus and complex earthy notes. It has a long finish, in which a gentle sweetness emerges.

Made from our very best parcels of Bacchus grapes, a unique expression of Bacchus from some of our oldest vines. The Orpheus is a wine of great finesse, a limited range only made in selected years. Our first Première Cuvée Rosé is a blend based on the 2016 harvest. The style is a more vinous and gastronomic version of rosé based on the saignée method. A longer lees ageing – the wine was bottled in 2017 and disgorged in 2022 – gives the depth and complexity worthy of our Première range.
The colour is a delicate strawberry pink, with just a suggestion of bronze and onion skin. The bouquet springs from the glass, immediate and assertive, rich with sweet summer raspberry fruit and subtle autumnal blackberry.
Yotes Court ‘Two Beat Trot’ Chardonnay 2022 (6 Bottles) Maidstone, Kent, England

This Chardonnay has aromas of ripe melon, bergamot and apricot, a rich palate of butter and citrus marmalade, and a savoury toast-crunch finish. Balanced, complex and delicious.
In the Vineyard
Vines in Block 7 in the centre of the vineyard were chosen for our first Chardonnay. The vines are closely planted (5,000 vines per hectare) in soil with a distinctly sandy and rocky profile. This regulates canopy growth, lessening growth of both shoots and fruit. Lighter crops, from well ventilated, less vigorous canopies, enabled us to ripen the grapes to the desired quality level with minimal canopy intervention.
What's in the name?
'Two Beat Trot' is a dressage term for balance, making it the perfect name for our Chardonnay. Just like the elegant movement, this wine is beautifully balanced and complex.
Food Pairing
This will pair well with autumn vegetable dishes like pumpkin ravioli, roast chicken, and cheddar cheese.
