Ortega is an early ripening variety for the UK, which allows us to leave the grapes hanging on the vine as long as possible to achieve the optimum balance of fruit and acid. This is a dry, lightly oaked wine with subtle red apple and elderflower flavours and a hint of vanilla. The style is dry, alcohol 11% and its vegan friendly.

100% fermented in neutral Burgundy barrels, full malolactic fermentation followed by periodic lees stirring.
Complex nose with aromas of juicy stone fruits, hazelnut and citrus zest wrapped around a core of minerality. The palate is rich, poised and expressive, with great texture and balance. The finish is long and focused, with lingering flavours of ripe nectarine and crushed almonds.

Ripe orchard fruits. Lovely, fresh and well balanced with a hint of toasty background notes.
The nose is of redcurrants, sweet red apples and peach with suggestions of pastry and lemon shortbread. The palate is very fruit forward, thanks to the fruits of the ripe 2019 vintage. But it’s perfectly judged, bringing forward a creamy generosity to balance the taut red berry and crisp apple flavours.

This wine is a vibrant and seductive blend of flavours, with a nose that's bursting with juicy yellow peaches, sweet melon, and citrus zest, all entwined with delicate hints of frangipani and honeysuckle. Bodegas Frontonio is the passion project of Fernando Mora MW and oenologist Mario López. The winery is named after Saint Frontonio, the Patron Saint of the village. According to legend, Frontonio was beheaded by the Romans, his head found upstream after it had been thrown into the Ebro. Going against the current is at the heart of this project, hence the name Frontonio.
Pale lemon. Aromas of white blossom, lime peel and herbal notes. It offers a refreshing acidity and a moderate body in mouth. Precise and clean.
