Melbury Vale Sparkling Wine Decadence (6 Bottles) Shaftesbury, Dorset, England

A single vineyard blend of Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir. On site at Melbury Vale Vineyard we have one block of established Seyval Blanc vines and one block of established Pinot Noir vines. While Pinot Noir is traditionally used in sparkling wine, Seyval Blanc has become a go-to English preference for sparkling production. Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc at Melbury Vale ripen about the same time and are checked for sugar levels that are ideal for sparkling. This wine is a pale coral pink color with fine bubbles typical of a high quality English sparkling wine. On the nose there are aromas of fresh summer berries and meadow flowers, and on the palate there are bright notes of ripe strawberry, watermelon, and lime zest.
Food Pairings: Dorset shellfish dishes, smokey pulled pork, and with cake after tea.

A lovely example of the delicate style of English bottle-fermented sparkling rosé wines. With a beautiful, pale salmon-pink hue and soft aromas of white nectarine, cherry, wild strawberry, and almond blossom this wine is dry and elegant with a fresh mineral character on the palate.
This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
Best served cool from the fridge (5 to 8oC), it will make a great all year round drink to accompany Mediterranean dishes, salads and barbequed fish and prawns.

Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2023 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish. Natural fermentation, low alcohol dry white wine made from Seyval Blanc grapes from our vineyard in Pembrokeshire.
After a dry, hot summer the 2022 vintage of Naturiol was picked on the 28th October 2022.
It has been naturally fermented meaning no added yeast or sugar, no filtration or fining were used to avoid stripping out the flavour compounds.
On the nose the wine presents fresh and with notes of pear, marizpan and a slight touch of aniseed. On the palate it is light-textured yet brimming with crunchy orchard fruit, such as green apple and yellow pear. A soft mouthfeel, and a long, zingy aftertaste.
Made in Wales by David Morris at Mountain People Wine in Monmouthshire.
